    Watched video - a lot of moving pieces on that thing - I'll stick to manual doing things for upcasting for now. FG updates breaking another thing on me out of my control I'll have to pass on But it does look good - wish the dev luck on maintaining - hope he does not suffer as much as I do (sigh)

I completely understand your caution, there are definitely a lot of moving pieces under the hood, and trying to stay ahead of FGU updates can definitely feel like a marathon sometimes. Wishing you the absolute best of luck with your own work as well, and let's hope future FG updates don't break too many things for us! xD

    I wish future updates would not break us - but I've learned the hard way that is just not the way it is I spend all my time keeping things running the way they "were" after every major update - its a huge investment of time for sure. Helps immensely if you're using your own extensions in your own games - I can't imagine doing any of this if that was not the case. If you need anything out of my code though, feel free to use it - strip it out - change it for your own purposes whatever. The fate of all extensions is one day they will cease to be maintained. Its the main ones like AOE effect (recently taken over by bwatford) and BCEG (MW is currently fixing - none is picking it up long term to my knowledge though) that worry me most.

    Warning: Any custom effect with an [SDC] effect tag will not be translated when placed programmatically by EE in an NPC's CT entry. Used to work with (SDC) but that was all changed to [SDC] and only translates correctly when dragged from custom effects manually and dropped on NPC's CT entry. Which of course, will not help anything done by EE. No fix currently.
