Changing NPC Token / adding

Hi im adding some new NPC's and cant seem to add a token, dont know if im doing anything wrong.
Ive tried copying a raider NPC and i want to change the token, but cant seem to do it.

Is there an official way to do it as dragging a imported image to the token icon on the NPC sheet does nothing.

I'm not sure if the issue is related to adding your own tokens or adding it to the NPC sheet. If it's the latter, then once you have the asset window open and found your token, you can drag it and drop it over the original token to replace it. Also, ensure the record is unlocked. If the icon is red, then you will need to make a copy by drag and dropping it over the window you clicked on to open the record. This will make it editable.
