I'm curious. How does FG fit into your PbP workflow?

We have our site that all the roleplay takes place on.

I leave FG up 24/7 for the players to log in to check a rule, make a skill check, read what ever source book they need, etc. Maps get posted, images, etc.

I have people from the UK, Ireland, all the time zones in North America and also someone in Australia. So there are people posting at all times of the day.

I call our game Cooperative Storytelling. Things move along slower than a live game but it makes it more detailed and Indepth.
We do not stop playing because we grow old.

Oddly enough, that is what I'm doing with my Fantasy Grounds Unity app. When I add new material - I let my two players know and they can read it when they want. In the meantime, I've been putting in work with the npc's and even using ChatGPT to take on the role of an NPC so as to see what ChatGPT is capable of doing. I had already planned on having one NPC deal with the issue tha she had been struck by a near miss of a Laser pulse that penetrated the hull, and some of the damage hit her in the head, neck, and torso with burning damage. The ship was hulled and losing atmosphere (in my mind's eye) and a pirate boarded her craft to loot the ship of valuables before heading out. The attack was done with a 100 dTon hull built to similar standards to the Sulieman class scout ship, but built using TL 12 technology and radical stealth functionality. This craft is effectively meant to be a picket ship that listens in on its passive sensors for jump flashes, and watches worlds for unexpected heat signatures of fast moving craft as they plow through the atmosphere. This is effectively done for worlds that are Class 1 or Class two starport worlds with little in the way of detection equipment. The data is then fed to the Office of Naval Intelligence to help analyze the possibility of pirate attacks or smugglers etc. So my NPC used to be a gunner on a Beowulf class ship, is haunted by Survivors guilt, and has a traumatic memory of one of the pirates reaching down to her prone figure and looking for lootable items. She spotted a ring with a distinctive Ax weapon crossed with a sword - both in black stone, set against a maroon colored stone as its background. As luck would have it, it is the heraldry symbol for the Baron of Ianic. So I asked ChatGPT what the character would do if she saw that symbol during a live televised funeral involving that family. Of the five things I had planned on, ChatGPT added one further complication to the character's thinking. It said words to the effect, the character would warn her friend of what danger she might be in, but wouldn't tell her EVERYTHING, as she doesn't want them to think her panic is due to PTSD.

So. As such, ChatGPT can help the GM work on timelines of events, handle character motivations, and since the GM controls the information the character can access, the ChatGPT can't act on information it doesn't have.

But, overall, I'm happy with how ChatGPT, Fantasy Grounds Unity, and GURPS TRAVELLER are working this time around. Keeping FGU running 24/7 does present one minor problem - you have to take time to kill it, then update the system when you restart it, so that you have the most up to date version.
