    Collaborative Effects Sharing Thread

Since we didn't get the effects library thread when 3.5E and PF1e forums split last year (and that thread was a mishmash of PF and D&D content anyway), let's start a PF1e-specific one!

Ancestral Enmity; IFT: TYPE(gnome); ATK: 2
Ancestral Enmity; IFT: TYPE(dwarf); ATK: 2

Combat Expertise; ATK: -1 [-QBAB] ,melee; AC: 1 [QBAB] dodge
Deadly Aim; ATK: -1 [-QBAB] ,ranged; DMG: 1 [QBAB] ,ranged; DMG: 1 [QBAB] ,ranged
Furious Focus; IF: CUSTOM(Power Attack 2-H); ATK: 1 [QBAB] ,melee (must be set to single roll)
Magic Weapon; ATK: 1 enhancement; DMG: 1 enhancement; DMGTYPE: magic
    Mobility; AC: 4 dodge,opportunity

    Smite

    Smite-Target ([TARGET], 1 day duration)
Smite; IFT: CUSTOM(Smite-Target); IFT: ALIGN(evil); DMGTYPE: force; ATK: [CHA]; DMG: [LVL]; AC: [CHA] deflection ([SELF], 1 day duration, must be dragged onto the target while holding shift)
Smite Bonus; IFT: CUSTOM(Smite-Target); IFT: ALIGN(evil); TYPE(evil, dragon, undead); DMG: [LVL] ([SELF], "apply each once", short duration recommended)

    This fully automates Smite Evil.

Since Flat-footed is a built-in condition in PF1e, does Mobility need the Custom tag?

good point, perhaps not. I'll test it and, if not, update that post.
EDIT: looks like it doesn't need that section at all if I set the bonus type to dodge (since dodge bonus is ignored if no dex to ac -- such as when flat-footed).

Smite-Target; IF: ALIGN(evil); IFT: CUSTOM(Smite); ATK: [-CHA] (must be applied to creature. technically it should be a targeted AC bonus against the creature but I find this easier/faster).
Smite; IFT: CUSTOM(Smite-Target); DMGTYPE: force; IFT: ALIGN(evil); ATK: [CHA]; DMG: [LVL]; AC: [CHA] (must be applied to self, no duration which means infinite duration)
Smite-Target (must be applied to target)

Three things. Bleed is a damage type added in Kels extension (pretty sure), so force should be the "best" choice.
And I you should have the AC on yourself since it is an deflection bonus and this prevents stacking issues. Also it is confusing to make it apply to attack rolls.
Finally, why a short duration on the smite bonus? I would rather suggest a long or infinite duration on it, but apply only once. It will not trigger until the conditions are met, and it is easy to forget about it if you dont have it on yourself.

    1. thanks, that explains why I've been having issues with it not overcoming DR (I switched to bleed from Kel's drbypass when the feb16th update came out and hadn't taken time to test it all thoroughly).
    2. I know, but this is very risky because it relies on the player targeting that effect correctly (otherwise it applies to everyone). The posted version doesn't have this shortcoming (but does potentially allow two stacked deflection bonuses that shouldn't stack). I'm changing it to your way since it's been discussed here now and it is more correct.
    3. "it is easy to forget about it if you don't have it on yourself." you can't leave it on yourself since it only applies when you first smite a creature. having no duration means it will sit there in the combat tracker pointlessly until you realize and delete it.

DMGTYPE is not a targetable effect, so, it cannot be combined with IFT as in your smite effect (the targetable thingy is from my extension, too )

Broke out the AC bonus into a seperate effect to hopefully work around this limitation, thanks!

Can you explain "the targetable thingy is from my extension, too" more fully?
    Your extension makes DMGTYPE targetable?
