can i use mods and extensions with steam? Im having a hard time finding the folders to put them in. thanks for any help / advice
When you first open FG there is a folder that you can open (illustrated in the attached image) there you will find the extensions folder.. put your extensions in there.
Yes of course - its ultimately the same game with a pretty steam launcher.
On the splash screen click on the folder Icon on the upper right and you will have access to all your Fantasy Grounds folders there.

Are you running the (Beta-Test) version of FG (ie v3.2) or v3.1.7?
OK, so nothing has changed with the DOEs avalaible from these forums - I am working on FGv3.2-compatable ones, but they haven't been released yet.
So when you say they aren't loading what do you mean exactly - Are they not showing up in the FG Loader window, are they showing up but with red Xs next to them, when selected are they "grey-out" or "nice & clear" on the FG Loaded, are they any messages in the console window when you start your Ruleset (start the ruleset, type "/console" into the chatbox to open the console window, then type "/reload" into the chatbox and see if any messages are displayed).
And finally, which Ruleset are you using them with?

You need to download the latest versions.... The red cross means they are not compatible with your ruleset version or another DOE extension.
Glad we got that sorted - and thanks Damned, that was going to be my advice as well (once I woke back up) :)
I'm having trouble finding a extension made by a member. It changed the colour of the highlight circle on a token when it is that tokens turn in the combat tracker.
Anyone got a link to it?

There are a lot of great extensions in here. Have any of them other than DOEs been updated for FG3.2?

Long Shot, Is there anyway to import / export data into location or organization?
I have two campaigns going and they are both in the same world. just looking to cut data entry in half...
Actually, as long as the information in the DOEs is ruleset-neutral (ie no NPCs linked in, as an eg) the DOEs will export and import into any Ruleset.

Building a ruleset is a project. A non trivial project that will likely take you a long time. There is no tutorial for this.Quote:

Great extensions! Using in every game. But can you add "default" money type for shops? A lot of time I spending for "gp" to "credits" changes.
I've seen that it has an extension that adds the phases of the moon, but as I'm not a programming expert I wonder if it would be possible to increment and add two functions to the calendar.
1 - Add a Chat Bubble that displays in the Chat the current phase of the moon.
2 - Create a dial that does the same that makes the phases of the moon, but showing the season of the month.
