Thank you!! I just didn't want to cross the line from helpful feedback into whining. I am not a professional, but fairly computer and network knowledgeable. Had I been in the USA I could have resolved the blocked ports. Here, I made the request and they said "no, this protection is part of the service we provide." Should my secondary service decide to "offer that service" as well. I may be forced to look into the free VPN's... but nothing is really free so I'm hesitant about those because all of the ones I have looked at either have forced adds or they are gathering and selling information.

Sudden connection issues
After updating this evening I'm unable to connect to any cloud games. I have not tested LAN connection.
In the interface I see the "Attempting resolved connection to server" message where it just hangs indefinitely (until I press cancel).
Attached is the network.log with my IP redacted. It seems like it successfully connects and then immediately thereafter throws a TimedOut exception.
I have no issues connecting to other services, and this worked fine when I hosted my Sunday evening game.

Was trying to play this week after updating to 4.1, all but one of my players was able to connect. The one who couldnt connect made sure to update to 4.1, and even did a full uninstall and reinstall of their demo client, but were still unable to connect. They have never had any issues connecting up until this weeks session after the 4.1 update.

@AgrathorTheMighty,
@Tobyqueef,
@lbkoerich,
For any connection issues, please post full logs from both the GM and the player. You can access the console by using the button in upper left of FG launch/connect screen, or by typing /console while in the game; then press the Compile Logs button to build the full logs output.
Also, given that this is a new release (and thus a new executable), users may need to make sure that any security software they have installed is allowing the new version to access the Internet.
Regards,

Hi.
Regarding questions above.
Yes, player FG was updated. Player log is:

I'm sorry, I closed FG before saving my log (the DM log). We thought that this could be a problem on the player FG, Windows, modem or router. He restarted all his network devices and disabled all antivirus and firewalls. He also tryed to log from different computers and using his cell phone as router. Finally, he downloaded and reinstalled the FG. Still, nothing changed and all logs were the same. As I explained, we did a session two days ago, before the update, and everithing was ok. The only thing that changed from DM and player sides was the update.
I wonder if the creation of a new account could solve the problem.
PS. About a month ago I tried to host a session using the TEST build of the FG because I wanted to try the new dynamic light features. On that ocasion, all players were able to login, with the exception of this same player. So we returned to the LIVE build of FG and played normaly until now.

It could also be a block on the GM side; depending on the security settings on the machine, router or Internet provider level. For example, Comcast Advanced Security requires explicit approval of each incoming connection.
That's why having both sets of full logs (using Compile Logs button) is really necessary for us to be able to try to figure out anything.
