New Functionality Suggestion: GM Lock Out
As a GM, I'd find it really useful to be able to lock out players from connecting to a game until I'm set up and ready to run, and release the lock dynamically. I find there is a significant performance impact on players connecting to my session that freezes my session while I am getting set up. It would be good to be able to keep the players out to prevent this, until I am ready for them.

You can go back to the Launcher, switch to a LAN game (or cloud if you run by LAN) to work on your game.
Then you go back to the Launcher to switch back to your regular way of hosting.
Right click, exit to Launcher no need to restart FG totally. We do not stop playing because we grow old.

What Anstett said or just tell them not to connect until you tell them to connect?
Also change the password if they connect even after you told them not to.

If the suggested work arounds still are not want you want, the devs have asked us to make feature requests on this site: Fantasy Grounds - Feature Requests Once your request is approved, you can add a link here to the request. AS well, you can add a comment to the request to a link back here for discussions.

Perhaps a better way to implement this added functionality is to do something along the lines of what other online conferencing software does: have an option to "put players in a lobby," or at least send them a message that the server hasn't opened for players. If you go the lobby route, these apps usually suspend users in a "waiting" mode (the lobby), and the host (or rather, GM in FGU's case) can release them and bring them into the session-- meaning, their login continues automatically. If you've already made a feature request, I'll add my commentary to it.
