You are right, that the old format looks nicer, but at the moment we are focuces on function and bugs - so perhaps somewhere in the future we will have a look into this.
At the moment categories are marked and there are lots of more categories then 7- see one example screenshot.
You can press the development button on the right down side and another skill window will appear. There at the bottom you can add or remove all categoeires (Primary skills) or skills (secondary skills) or delete all you have not developed. If you have added RMC be careful because you will add lots of broken skills here.

I was more concerned about the error messages I got (s'Cannot automatically add the Category Bonus, as you have more then one category with the same group, delete or change to a another skill Calc and you can continue') and the missing data.
I had selected the Skill Development dialog. Attached is what I get when I add all categories in the Skill Development dialog. I removed Arms, Character, and Spell Law before doing any of this.
I don't have anything from RMC except for the Ruleset.
I just tried it again (in the same campaign; not a new one) and there were 3 categories and 6 skills (all Secondary, no Primary) total in the Skill Development dialog after I clicked the Add buttons for Skills Category and Skills.

The error messages are no problem, because they only tell you, that FGU tries to add a category twice, but didnīt do it in the end.
I have created a complete new character- we are using ERA for character creation and not FGU, because thatīs much easier, because ERA is forcing all rules and FGU not- you can do all things wrong in FGU- we are creating characters iun ERA and then converting them to FGU. Thats the most accurate and fastes way to do characters, because ERA has absolute all books of FRP and Shadow World- so you could choose anything. For FGU you have only the 4 comanions and Races & Cultures... the other books are coming somewhere in the future, but not knowing when.
I opened a completel empty skioll sheet go to development skill sheet and press adding all categories and then press all skills- you can see the screenshots following below, what I can see. So all is ok.
For the Version, Ardem seem to have put only V53 in the notes, but the name is V54- you can see this in the loading window of FGU. I have no more time at the moment, so if you have more bugs- I will pool them and look to them on monday. But please if, show me your library on a screenshot to see which modules you are using.

OK, thanks for your time. I'm not sure what's going on then. I have ERA as well so I guess that will work as well so I guess I'm all set for now.

With the next FRP extension update there will be:
RMSS Martial Arts Companion complete with skills, spells, professions, attack tables and crittables.
V67: Extension
1. Realmstat calculation bug fixed
2. Lvl bonus calculation bug on main sheet and Spells section fixed
3. Better Overview on Skillsheet with categories (primary skills) marked in other color
4. Power Awareness stats fixed
5. -Spells Own Realm TP Lists fixed
6. Donīt use a legacy theme- it could be buggy- you need no theme for this extension
7. you need to switch back between primary and secondary the same skill to get correct markings and values if not already there.
8. you need switch the chosen realm back and forth to have correct Realmstat detection.
9. You need to change back and forth race and profession to get the correct level and statboni calculation done.

Space Master Privateers and links to discord server for help
We plan to publish free fan material (original attack tables, items, skills, crittables...) in FGU for Space Master Privateers with the same extension, if ICE will not object soon.

**V89 RMSS/VRP Extension is online:**
Now a new design smaller and less bulky is introduced for the skill sheets
- strikethrus are repaired
-automatic skill cost calculation incl. occupational and everyman or restricted (from professions)
-a lot of bugs for rank progressions of different skills and categories
-All companions are updated for this
- Skill Companion (School of Hard Knocks) is now online
As soon Ardem updates, you will get the following changes with FRP:

FRP repaired V105 AT40 is live (RMSS/FRP extension)
**FRP repaired V105 AT40** is live!
a new fully functionable FGU FRPG/RMSS version is now online. The first time prepared for later coming free Spacemaster Privateers material. Now you can use ATs higher the 20 without error messages. We will use the Spacemaster 2ed system for calculating ATs but using the rome numbered tables. Example:
AT I is AT21 in FGU (similar to 2ed Spacemaster) but using the updated Privateers tables whenever possible.
...AT X is AT 30 in FGU
CAT I (vehicle AT) is AT31 in FGU and so on...
In addition you get now all 43 different specialty priest professions with the updated **ChannelingCompendium **all of their base lists and of course the summoner, Mythik...

There's an error with the latest version of the Rolemaster FRP Extension. Whenever you try to resolve a skill check, the error message pops up. There seems to be an error in the function getEffectsBonusByType (a nil value) that comes from rules_modifiers_frp.lua, line 97 within the FRP.dat file. I tried to debug an fix it myself, by the .dat file is of course password protected, so I can't take even take a look what's causing it. Is there any way to perhaps roll back to a previous version, until the issue is resolved?
