DICE PACKS BUNDLE

    [3.5] I encurred in a curious issue....

Now, I had my weekly D&D session last night, we started playing and my players were happy. Until the wizard and the archivist went to prepare spells for the new day.

Their Action interface, where spells are, was set as if they were psionic powers. Tried having'em switch spell type (prepared -spontaneous - psionics) multiple times but it only shows'em the psionic version. The thing is, DM side (me) it shows everything correctly. I even tried loading a second FG to log in as a player, and it shows no issue. Only other players have that problem. I'm unsure if it's a matter of extensions or not, since I can't check it by myself. Being that all my players have their lives, we barely manage to squeeze 2-3 hours a week to play so it's almost impossible for even one of them to come and log in game to do some tests, and this issue only appears on THEIR side.

The main issue is in the fact they can't prepare spells, nor know which ones are still prepared (I can tell'em via my side each and every time but... well XD)

On another side, they also had a cascade of errors like this:

What could I do to figure out where the problem lies?

Ask your players to clear their cache to see if that fixes the issue.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Once I manage to get at least one player to log and try, I'll check it out Thanks

You have extensions loaded, right? Did you try without any extensions loaded? Might be an issue with one of those; I see that you have extended (or advanced?) char sheets loaded, maybe that one?

As I said before, since the problem does NOT show up for me (not even with a 2nd client open) I can only test it whenever I have a player free to help me with tests (which sadly won't happen anytime soon; if I'm extremely lucky maybe in the evening of thursday).... so I cant' check if extensions do that until I get at least one player to log in and check for me ^^

You can open a second instance of FG and join yourself via "localhost" as IP In that way you can test player perspectives

Did it as the very first thing, but no issues detected. Only other players have that problem (I instructed'em about deleting the cache folder when they can, and so on friday's game we'll see what happens)

Ok, I managed to get our drow paladin to log in for a few minutes, after deleing her cache folder... and the issue seems to be gone, which means within tonight and tomorrow I'll force all players to delete their cache folder to fix it!

Thank you, Zacchaeus! (and Kelrugem, too!)

Oi, I see, good to know about the cache stuff! Glad that it works now again
