    Concentration Check

I think I am being completely dumb. How exactly can you require a concentration check on a spell caster?

COC doesn't seem to work for me - and I have tried a number of different ways of setting it up.

    To clarify:

A concentration check, when receiving damage, for Pathfinder 1e.

Any examples would be greatly appreciated!

You just add the effect COC: 5 or so and then whenever you click the concentration button of a spell class you will get the bonus

I just tested and it worked; if it does not work for you: It might be because of an incompatibility with an extension.

Or do you use an extension automating the concentration roll after receiving damage? There might be an incompatibility with such an extension then

EDIT: since you initially posted it in my extension's thread, I assumed you loaded my extension; without my extension there is no COC effect by the way

I've moved this discussion to a new thread as it had little relevance to the thread it was posted in. Please only post in an existing thread if your question/issue is 100% relevant to the thread content. It's fine to create a new thread if needed.

@jrawly - are you trying to automatically trigger a concentration check when receiving damage? If so, this isn't possible in the base ruleset - you need to manually click the concentration button in the spell class header to carry out a concentration check. If this isn't what you're trying to do, please provide more information.

Good point! I didn't realize that their question might actually not be related to my extension.

@jrawly: There is no COC effect in the ruleset (but my extension has that effect; since you posted in my extension's thread, I thought you may have asked about that feature of my extension, and thus my previous answer. Even if you would have loaded my extension, then it would not force a concentration roll).

I thought I was. But it seems I misunderstood what the COC did!
    All good.

Yes, I was trying to force a concentration check on incoming damage for spells where concentration is a thing.

    Ah well!

I'm still using your extension, it's brilliant! Thanks for the work!

There may be an extension from bmos handling that, but I am not totally sure anymore
