    I'm just taking a look at this now. The reality is that 4e is very low priority for fixes because I dont own any of the content, due to how its licence data was provided. So for me to test this sort of thing I actually have to 'build' npcs and powers from scratch as data... so as you can imagine it takes some time to setup and test and replicate.

    I'm away at the moment, hence the delay. Once I know the issue and can replicate it, I'll try and sort a fix. I'm not sure I have everything on my laptop to be a make an update/upload. So even the fix will have to wait until I get back to my development machine and source control etc..

    Hello. Not sure if this will ping anyone, but, I am trying to use this extension and when I click SPELL TOKENS CONFIGURATION under the LIBRARY on the toolbar, I only have the Export, Import and Edit options, and not the green button to add spells / tokens. Does anyone know if I am doing something wrong? Extension is indeed loaded.

    Hi,

    if I'm understanding what you're trying to do, try right clicking in the body of the spell token box. If I remember correctly (I'm not at the pc right now) that allows you to add a line for a new token. It had me flummoxed when I was new to the extension as well.

    As Ludd said, just right click and create item. However, you likely right should have a + icon to match other themes.

    Forge v7.31, Updated to add an 'add' button, and fix errors from onDrop into window match/create strings from the likes of 'text drags/spells shortcuts'

    I'm not going to be updating DmsGuild spell tokens builds from now on.

    I'm having a minor issue with B9 spell tokens loaded and using widgets (like the new indicators by Smiteworks) are being forced over other tokens around it. With it B9 spell tokens off, it works correctly with the last token moved is "on top".

    Again this is a minor issue and if it can't be fixed because of the other tools needed to keep B9 spell tokens working how it works where they are less intrusive, I get it. Just didn't know and figured I would report it, maybe something can be done.

    I'll take a look, not sure on the widget you are talking about... is this just the new 'animated' selection ring thing ? Or some other new thing that has been added ?

    Do you have a config, as I was looking at the animated tokens and they seems to have a below and on top type thing, but I assumed they used the same addimage like the health bars/dots etc and hence would not interact with spell tokens. ( Since it uses the token system directly. )

    I was waiting for the new ( from the video early this week/last week ) of the menus going into menu lists from the radial buttons... as I totally expected that to break things !!

    Just been taking a look and I'm not sure exactly how to resolve this sort of thing. ( Yep without my extension basically the last moved will end up on top. )

    While Spell tokens generates a bunch of 'priority' layers within the tokens and so has to 're-sort' the order of all tokens after a token is moved.

    This allows for things like,

    In which I have set the NPC to below the table and the PC to above the table. ( Spell tokens by default a lower. )

    The system basically has 5 layers.


    1. Spell token low
    2. non spell token low
    3. spell token mid
    4. non spell token high
    5. spell token high.

    With the spell token low/mid/high, been set in the configuration window. ( As I say most spell tokens are set as (1) spell token low. )

    The npc/player tokens default to (4) non-spell token high. You can use the 'toggle' priority button/menu item to swap this on the npc/player tokens.

    When a token is moved they are adjusted to been at the priority been set.

    At the moment it has no concept of which was moved 'last' on a specific priority because it just asks for the list of tokens and splits them into the 5 groups and has to 'bring to front' all the tokens on a per group to sort the tokens as configured.

    I'm not sure what things you are stacking on top of each other to have to worry about tokens been on top of each other. I guess you have npc/player overlaps ? Which I consider only as an accident case as most players dont on-purpose move token on top of each other. So they only need to be able resolve this if it happens.

    Do you have a specific case that causes this, or is it just more of a 'test' and you noticed this. ( Its been like this for over a year that spell token extensions does not respect last moved token as on-top due to priority system.. )
