    Unearthed Arcana 2024

    Wizards of the Coast have begun releasing articles for the new 2024 5e rules. The first one details the Artificer character class. Instead of adding to the existing Unearthed Arcana it was decided to start a new module and it is now available on the Forge here https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/2028/view

    I'll update this post when new articles are added in and if you find any issues with the module please post below.

    Small Issue on the Artificer: the spell slot progression works the way it would with a full caster, the artificer is only a half caster (sadly)

    Hmm. I think that'll require a ruleset change in order to accomplish that. In the meantime when creating an Artificer once you have selected the 1st level open the class and level dialog (click the cog icon at the end of the class and level line). In there click on the 1x under caster until it says 1/2x. This will give the correct spell slot progression for subsequent levels. I notice also too many spells are being offered but that will also need a ruleset change. I'll mention it to the devs but this may have to wait until some kind of official book comes out before it's changed (since this is playtest material at the moment and therefore subject to change).

    Just pushed a hot fix that should allow Artificer to get the correct spell slot progression and cantrips.

    Will the latest update (released a few weeks ago) with the new subclasses come to FGU in the forseeable future?

    I wasn't aware that there was a new article since I don't subscribe to D&D Beyond. I'll get that one incorporated as soon as possible.

    The latest article - Subclasses of the Realms - has now been added to the module. It'll be released once it's gone through the Forge update process.

    The module has now been updated to include the recent Eberron Article. This adds a bunch of feats for Eberron campaigns, a new subclass for the Artificer, and updated some of the Artificer features. It'll get released as soon as it passes all the usual checks on the Forge.

    Hi Zacchaeus, how long is usually the update process? The module is still not showing the update with the horror subclasses

    EDIT: They're in now! Took a few more days
