When I go to that address(192.168.0.1) I get the router login page after logging in I get the main configuration screen. I was on the phone with the customer service person so many times that 10.0.... address could be them looking at my modem.
When I try to connect from a local pc I used the 192.168.0.21 address not the phrase mask it gives you. Should I try to use the phrase to connect with a local pc. Aslo should I have someone from outside my network try to connect. Could you get that failure message in FG and people still be able to connect? I haven't asked anyone to try to connect from outside my local network.

After 3 more hours with Mediacrap Tech support, reset router to factory support and trying again they said there is nothing they can do but they have a newer modem available and they will send me that one.. so Thank you for trying with me but I have to put it on hold for another week till I get my new modem. Thank you again for the fast response to my request. I give you a heads up once they get the new modem setup.

Players inside your network should use your 192.168.0.21 address and not the alias.
If everything is setup right the connection test should be working.
Please do update when you get the router.

Hi all, let me preface this by saying thank you for swinging in and reading this. It means a lot that people are willing to try and help people figure things out.
So, I am a GM that has a decent history of playing D&D, but I am entirely new to trying to play any campaigns (as a player or running it) in an online setting. The majority of things in Fantasy Grounds are pretty straightforward and easy-ish to figure out, but my problem is that I cannot get my fantasy grounds to succeed in a connection test.
I read the stickied posts on here and sadly I am barely able to follow at all; I am not tech savvy at all, and when it comes to computers and I have really been struggling to try and figure it out. I would say that I have tried port forwarding on my router but I am not even sure if I had been doing that properly, I am that computer-tech illiterate. I was able to find my IPv4 and IPv6 addresses as well as my subnet masks and dns things, but I don't even know what any of those terms mean or their specific relevance to what exactly I need to do. I have also tried doing online searches and there are tutorials and web pages out there that give step by step processes, but they all are written as if the person that is reading it is already familiar with all the terms and such and I don't want to accidentally mess up any important settings that do not need to be touched...
I have a Linksys EA 6350 router and I also have a screenshot of the router access to being able to do the port forwarding that I need to do (I think). If there is any other information I may be missing or need to explain further on, I do apologize, I don't know everything that may be relevant to helping me getting this figured out.
Any advice/direction whatsoever would be a tremendous help for this computer ignorant dude.

Hi,
Sorry for the late response; irl things came up on my front. As for the questions, I will answer them as best as I can, I do hope you understand that I do not understand all the terms.
1. My LAN IP Address is 192.168.1.104
2. My WAN IP is 184.166
3. It is a wired connection
4. I am pretty sure it is on private
5. I am unsure of the Terms of 'AV' and 'exceptions', apologies.
6. 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms Materia-Hunters [192.168.1.1]
2 * * * Request timed out.
3 69 ms 102 ms 71 ms host-69-144-26-245.static.bresnan.net [69.144.26.245]

9 92 ms 106 ms 104 ms 74.125.243.177
10 90 ms 80 ms 86 ms 209.85.254.171
11 70 ms 82 ms 76 ms dns.google [8.8.8.8]
7. I believe the my router has the proper port forwarding set up (my previous post in here has the screenshot for it)
8. I do not know what a Virtualisation NIC is, so probably not..?
Again, apologies for not knowing much in terms of PC lingo, but I hope what I have put in here helps shed some light..?

#2 - is that what Fantasy Grounds AND your Router both show?
#4 - start - settings - network - network and sharing center - confirm your adapter is set to private
#5 - Antivirus. start with what Antivirus product you are using
#6 - hop #2 may be a problem, we will find out...
