    Compatibility Information & Known Problems

    • This theme uses a high load order of 1500 so it can overwrite most extensions’ UI elements. Any extension that should override this theme must set its load order to 1501 or higher in its extension.xml
    • Font extensions (e.g. by Mattekure) — may revert text color to black, making it hard to read.
Console warnings — you may see [Warning] entries related to this theme; these are harmless and indicate an unsupported extension. [ERROR] entries are serious; please report any errors mentioning this theme.
    • Chat Aesthetics Configurator (by Drowbe, maintained by rhagelstrom) — its font and chat color settings conflict with this theme. If you use it, set the configurator to default color in its settings.
    • PFRPG2 ruleset — if used, restart both the client and the launcher after installing the theme; otherwise action icons may not display.
    • Author extension by Celestian — causes storyframe list entries to appear black and hard to read. Avoid using the theme during world building while Author is enabled.

    Installation - Forge (Recommended)
    • Subscribe to the FG Forge item: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/12/view and update your Fantasy Grounds client.
    • On your campaign's Details page, enable the extension listed as Theme: Hearth in the Extensions section, then launch the campaign.
    • Done — enjoy the theme!

    Installation - GitHub

    • Download the Theme from Github
    • Move the file named "Theme_SirMotte_Hearth.ext" into the "Extensions" Folder found inside your Fantasy Grounds "Data" folder.
    • Activate the theme listed as "Theme: Hearth" in your campaign details page in the "Extensions" section and launch the campaign
    • Done, I hope you like it!

    Customization

    Enjoy!

    Hall of Fame

    • The first offering did little. The Knight stepped back from the altar, doubt cutting across his face.
"We can’t fail!" he muttered, nodding to the Ranger.

The young Elf approached the basin and set his chosen goods within. Ripples of gold spread across the surface as the items sank.
"It is pleased!" he whispered. His tone was even. Elation and relief hid behind the calm.

"My turn!" grunted the small sorcerer. Too short to reach the center, he paced the rim, staging each gift along the stone. With a final push of his cane, he sent them over. Splish. Splash.
The soft light swelled with every offering until they raised their arms against the glare.

A gentle heat rolled over them. When they looked again, an orb of pure radiance hovered above the altar, alive.
"We made it!" gasped the Knight, stepping forward...
    • Special thanks to seansps, whose efforts brought Cyberpunk Red support to life!
    • Rugged sea, distant shore, waves and thunder evermore.
Laughing gods of wet an wind care not for souls on wooden splint.
Tossed and turned, high and low, yet steady our ship will go, to promised land of bane and boon lead steadfast by Tabarkus tune.

      And a god takes notice.
"Prideful mortal, carry on, a deity's ear has heard your song.
I choose you to tell my name, spread the word and gain the fame, worthy of your lyrics fervour,
my heart was moved you may go further!"
      ---------------------------------------

Thank you, Tabarkus, for launching a fleet of ships into my map collection!
    • The creature watched from its hoard, teeth gleaming wet in the dim. Brown fur caught the lantern’s faint, a shimmer along the cut of its smile. With a flick of one curved claw, it sent something spinning through the dusted air.

Instinct flinched. The hand did not. I caught it mid-flight. A gold coin lay in my palm, ornate and foreign—a fair face framed by long hair beneath a curious hat. The smile on the metal matched the creature’s own.

When I looked up, it remained—watching, smiling. I bowed. I would strive to please it again.

Thank you, Felix Achberger, for your generous gift!
    • The nameless soul drifted ahead in silence, a ghostly figure a few feet before me, ragged cloth billowing in an otherworldly breeze.
Its translucent form shone with a faint silver-blue light. It led me into a chamber that had once been a scholar’s pride.

Crumbling parchment and dried inkpots. Old maps of long-lost kingdoms. Tomes of forgotten wisdom, arranged with care then surrendered to dust.
"Remarkable," I thought, as my eyes read the room.

The spirit stopped and turned. A fair face seemed to smile at the spark in my gaze. Hands gestured around the study—this, and this, and this—then pointed to me. Another smile.
I understood. I nodded, bowed deeply, and returned the smile. Not as fair as his, but in kind.
    • Where wares and coin change purse and hands, the one called Bayne there proudly stands, manifold a craft displayed, unlucky those who come too late, missing out on goods so great!
    • Kindred spirit, generous soul, artful script makes worth a scroll, it's weight in gold and read out loud. Thank you bmos, you can be proud!
    • The one who shares with golden heart, bright in soul and sound in art, has given plentiful his craft; abundant the amount amassed; eyes wide open I childlike laughed. Thank you Dud-in!
    • The incantation rose about, the whisper soon became a shout as magic made his body stout.
Thanks to Nick Frost for donating!
    • When darkness crawls and shadows loom, one misstep here could spell our doom; Smart the one with torch and lamp, will be remembered as a champ; As he who gave the gift of light, has earned himself the title knight.
    • The cartographer’s pride is a finished map. The traveler’s joy is a detailed map. The adventurer’s staple is a bundle of maps—They all came signed by whiteTiki.
    • Whispers in the king’s hall, traveling bards, puffers on the street, voices at the regulars’ table, birds in the trees—they all sing praise to Aridhro, who ensured the army marches not on adrenaline in battle, but on caffeine alone.
    • The warriors raise a freshly brewed toast to cmtpcm, who contributed to the cause with a large gift of coffee!
    • The Valkyries cheer, for their master spread wealth and name to support the cause. MadNomad!
    • Hushed voices whisper a glorious name. A supporter aided the cause. Did you hear it too?
    • The heavens sing of a name, angelic and pure, an euphony to ears and heart. Its bearer brought gifts from the storytellers’ wares.
    • The scribes bow their heads in respect to MeAndUnique, Saagael, mattekure, Superteddy57, Styrmir, damned, and Trenloe for help and ingenuity with complex scripture.
    • Wisdom poured by CMYKMatter and Drowbe keeps the eye focused.

    Well it’s certainly dark
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Yes it is! I added some information on screen brightness, as this theme is very sensitive in this regard.

Funny how a skin change can make something look 'old' or 'modern'. This looks modern.

Thank you very much. I'm kinda shooting for a more modern look.
Later down the line I may introduce a version that is a little bite more dynamic, talking simple color gradients and the like. No promises though .
