Looking for help, as really confused with this for once.
1. Your LAN IP Address
192.168.1.9
2. The first two sets (octects) of your WAN IP as displayed by Fantasy Grounds and as displayed by your Router
Whatismyip.com shows the same as fantasy grounds external
3. Whether you are using Wired or Wireless (and not both)
Tried both cannot accept an inbound external connection on either.
I preferably use wireless but will use wired for hosting if necessary.
4. Confirmation that you have set your Adapter in Network and Sharing Centre to Private
Yep set to private
5. Confirmation of what AV you are running and whether you have set any exceptions
Using microsoft defender (what comes with win10) and have set exception in firewall for both fantasy grounds and specifically created the rule in the firewall for anything on 1802
6. Post the results of the tracert 8.8.8.8 command (if you have security concerns you can remove this bit once its been responded to)
1 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms RAC2V1S [192.168.1.1]
2 14 ms 15 ms 12 ms 072-031-136-169.res.spectrum.com [72.31.136.169]
3 37 ms 20 ms 13 ms ten-0-5-1-6.orld14-ser2.bhn.net [72.31.216.184]
4 16 ms 17 ms 16 ms bundle-ether29.ORLD71-CAR2.bhn.net [72.31.196.198]
5 19 ms 22 ms 14 ms 072-031-188-176.res.spectrum.com [72.31.188.176]
6 22 ms 163 ms 87 ms 10.bu-ether15.orldfljo00w-bcr00.tbone.rr.com [66.109.6.98]
7 28 ms 26 ms 32 ms 0.xe-11-3-3.pr0.dca10.tbone.rr.com [66.109.1.32]
8 24 ms 27 ms 25 ms 209-18-36-63.tbone.rr.com [209.18.36.63]
9 26 ms 28 ms 26 ms 108.170.225.164
10 28 ms 29 ms 25 ms 108.170.225.113
11 24 ms 42 ms 27 ms dns.google [8.8.8.8]
7. Confirmation as to what you have setup in your Router if changes have been made

A few notes to answer obvious questions:
1. ISP: Spectrum
2. Can I connect with a LAN: Yes, I can connect to my comp with another computer on the same internal network without issue using the internal address.
3.Interesting note: Fantasy grounds says success and green lights the connection when i run its test. But when I attempt to connect with the external IP or use "canyouseeme" the suggested site it returns a connection time out message.Last edited by jakobmalkav; May 9th, 2020 at 01:32.

I have a new laptop and am having trouble setting up the port forwarding. My older laptop works fine with the port forwarding I set for it. but when I try to do the same for the newer laptop I get these errors:
Pinhole Conflict Detected (ip.nat.srvlist[2])
Pinhole Conflict Detected (ip.nat.srvlist[4])
What do i need to do to fix this?

You can only port forward any port to one computer/destination.
Delete rule #2.

5. Confirmation of what AV you are running and whether you have set any exceptions
I use Kaspersky. I set up exceptions and even disabled it temporarily to test if it fixed it, it did not.
