    Extensions are comprised of XML + other content (folders, lua scipts and images) either unpacked or zipped up and renamed as .ext

    Make sure your OS hasnt renamed the .ext as .ext.zip
    make sure the extensions are in \extensions
    make sure you are using the latest versions of the extensions and of the rulesets.
    close FG and relaunch and choose a ruleset that is supported by the DOEs and then check the extension list below.

    The issue is more than likely the way they were downloaded from the git website. As LordEntrails mentioned - the "download" button needs to be used, not just right/left clicking on the file.

    Glad you got it working through REMU though.

    I have been messing with this for the last 2 sessions of my campaign and everyone is liking the added ambiance I have been toying with getting the Auto Triggers to work but have not had much success with testing. I stumbled across a statement that seemed to say that the trigger in the chat window must come from across the internet (I assume that means a separate computer) to trigger the sound.

    This seemed to be what I ran across last night, I set an Auto Trigger for "[CAST] Witch Bolt" (minus the " of course) and when I was testing it on my own computer as the DM or even as logged on in localhost it would not work, but when a player clicked his cast for Witch Bolt the sound came across, I was pleasantly shocked.

    So my question is does the trigger need to come from outside the GM's computer to work? Or is there a way I can test it without someone logging on my game from outside?

    Chat trigger won’t work for hidden gm rolls - drag the hidden roll result to the chat again so it’s visible & it should trigger.

    Thanks for the quick reply I will give that a try, but even from my localhost account it did not seem to work, unless I screwed something up when testing it

    Bit of a dumb question, but: Do I need specifically Syrinscape to run this, or are there alternatives?

    I'm looking for the ability to play custom sounds, but also have a very limited budget, and Syrinscape appears to have locked the ability to load my own sound libraries behind a monthly paywall. I simply do not have the funds to dish out payments on a frequent basis like that.

    Nope. You can use it for other programs and/or for mp3's you have on your computer, etc... Its a tremendous extension!

    Are there guidelines on how I would accomplish this? I read the manual and the wiki page, but both assume that I want to go through Syrinscape, which I can't. Ideally I'd like to stream my sound effects through a Discord bot, but I'm open to anything that lets my players hear my custom sound library without a monthly fee.
