You might also try local facebook groups. I found my first group thanks to a local facebook group trying to establish connections between people locally. If you don't have a facebook group where people can share and discuss local issues, maybe MAKE one.

I have foudn that getting a player seat is not hard, it just takes some time and a willingness to be on the hunt for an LFP post, by checking the LFP thread a few times a day. The more RP sites that you check the LFP thread in, the better your odds.
Just a matter of being an early poster to ask for a seat when it is offered, and there is near daily new LFP churn to be found here. Just the patience ot spend anywhere from a few days to a few weeks checking in on the list consistently.
I have not foudn that process to be hard at all, just like so many other things in life, a little repetitive and boring, but not hard, challenging, or difficult. Just time and patience to get through it, but not really a lot of effort.Last edited by A Social Yeti; September 23rd, 2020 at 18:40.
