International Play

Hi everyone,
One of the member recently oved to Germany for work purposes, but we're hoping to continue playing with him. We did a quick test run to see if everything would work, however, he wasn't able to log into our session. I'm not sure on the specifics as this is second hand information but any information on plying internationally is a big help.

International should not matter. Man (most?) of us play with people in other continents regularly.

To help, we need to know more information, such as are they the only one having trouble joining? Are you using FGC or FGU?

One of my members was in the Military stationed in Germany. He did live off base in an apartment. The reason I bring that up is if the place they are living in has a firewall they might block everything going out that is not http or https. Also if they use a proxy to get to the internet you might have problems as well. If they have standard internet though it should work as if they were still in the states.
