Fonts: FGF to TTF?
Hi, I am trying to convert old rulesets from FGC to FGU.
The principal and first error is usually related to fonts defined for fgf font type support, where Unity i looking for TTF fonts.
My question is therefore, how do you set an equivallent ttf font?
Is there a tool to convert the fgf to ttf when only the fgf font was able in the old ruleset?
Is there a way to find which ttf equivalent font would be appropriate?
Is there a way to view fgf font format?
The only tool I have found is a tool to convert ttf to fgf.
Thank you in advance.

Best bet is to either contact the ruleset developer and ask, or just find a similar TTF font.
FGF is not really a font, it's a collection of bitmaps of each character in the specified point size.

Unfortunately the rulesets I am interested in are not supported anymore, hence my question.
I indeed want to find an equivallent but without knowing what the font looked like, it is difficult, hence my questions.
Thank you.

I had a feeling that would be the case, but thought it would still be appropriate to suggest asking as the first option just in case. Also, rather than trying to resurrect old dead rulesets, would MoreCore end up being a better solution for you so that you could get playing faster?

Thanks for that.
As for MoreCore it would not solve the character sheet and font issue that I am trying to address sadly.

A couple of ways to see what the font looks like:
- Install the demo of FG Classic. Create a demo campaign using the ruleset/extensions and review what the fonts look like.
- Load up the FGF file in the font editor: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...l=1#post423449
Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. General FG questions should be asked in the forums - don't be afraid, the FG community don't bite and you're giving everyone the chance to respond and learn!
