Spell Check?
Does the Unity build have spell check for writing original content?

Nope.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

There is no spellcheck capabilities and there is no such feature mentioned by SW in the near future. If you need spell check for stories/modules you can use external editor as OpenOffice or Microsoft Word.

Vote for the idea on the Wish List. https://fg2app.idea.informer.com/proj/?ia=119681
As you can see, not too many people in the community think it's important (I do), but it's always possible the devs will find a quick way to implement it in the future and still do it.

The idea informer link appears broken, so I'll just put a +1 here for either a spell check feature, or a 3rd party extension to do so. Building in fantasy grounds could benefit greatly from this. We have types, we have reference manuals, we have authoring extensions, but we don't have this basic feature pretty much every program that allows you to author creative works has had since the 80's.

The old wishlist was closed a while back. The new Wishlist is in Zacchaeus's signature and that has a spell/grammar check request here: https://fgapp.idea.informer.com/proj/?ia=135533
