Modern maps
It seems that modern maps, especially those not ravaged by the zombie apocalypse, are the hardest things to find. I am starting an X-Files sort of game and need a broad range of modern, real world location battle maps. Does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks.

I remember using Google Maps' Satellite view for a CyberPunk game awhile back. But we used it for a general layout and of land and features for navigation, combat was mostly theater of the mind but we still took in general features such as roads fences buildings ect.

If you want maps of houses, checkout the websites of home builders, they often will have floor plans of their homes that you can download. You might be able to get similar/blueprints from various city permit offices for commercial buildings, but that might take some effort digging to find one with free online copies.

Google image search may be your best friend here. “VTT battlemap” is a good search term.
Drivethru rpg has some options if you search long enough

I downloaded Google Earth and zoomed in to as close as possible and then just took screenshots. Sure it was blurry, but it served quite well for my purposes (ZA game in the city I live in).

Kris does awesome stuff. Mostly tiles for building your own maps. I know he has some modern stuff, check it out; https://gametilewarehouse.wixsite.com/rpgtilesupply
I hate Pintrest, but Google gave this link that might be promising; https://www.pinterest.com/skell360/modern-maps-vtt/

Kris is having a current kickstarter for his excellent Meanders series with modern maps, with 3 flavours of each map - zombie apocalypse, post apocalypse and standard modern maps. See here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...odern-rpg-maps
Dramascape have a very good range of maps: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/...1_19006/Modern They have a bunch of free/PWYW maps so you can see if you like the style.
Gethsemene games do some Modern location maps: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/...thsemane-Games as do Fabled Environments: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/...d-EnvironmentsPrivate Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. I was trying to remember Dramascape before. That is a good recommendation.
There are also “modern floor plans” which give blue print style maps. Not my cup of tea but might work for some purposes.
