Free Demo and FGU

Me and some friends have been playing a campaign and our DM has the ultimate edition so we are able to use that for our sessions. I know our DM plans on getting FGU and was wondering if there will be a free version for FGU as well or will we be able to purchase it separately from any other content. I can't find anything about it as well as any news on when it will release except for posts from over a year ago.

Yes, there will be a demo version of FGU. It will be released at some point after the Beta but no firm details on dates etc at this point.
