Player's can't access new custom background
Hi I am a brand new user of Fantasy Grounds and I thought I knew my way around the program after watching all the YouTube tutorials. I just created a new background for my players, and I thougt I did everything correctly as it looks exactly like the pre-made backgrounds from the PH for 5e D&D, but I guess there is some kind of setting somewhere that I must have missed ticking off because my player's can't see the new background in either the "all" or "new" dropdown for backgrounds. I can see it with all my work still there and drag it to their character sheet but they still can't view it when clicking the red dragon head and instead get a blank window. I entered all the info on both the Main and Other tab on the background. I noticed when looking at "all" of the backgrounds that mine didn't have anything listed in the sources column such as the PH or the DM's Guide for example so I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I wouldn't expect it would since the source comes from pre-purchased books off FG. Could somebody please point out what it is that I am missing or forgot to do in order for my player's to have access or see the new background. I have uploaded and included pics of my work here as https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...1&d=1541799128 https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...1&d=1541799154

Welcome to the FG forums!
I assume you've entered this as a campaign data record and not as an exported module?
If so, the simplest method is to share the background with the players - open the Information on campaign data here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/...aign_Data_List
Simplest method - share the record/s with the players. Open the background record, right-click in the window and select the "Share" option from the radial menu. Info on sharing here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/...Record_Windows
You can test this out to see what the players view. Start up another instance of FG on the same computer as the GM instance, then "Join Game" with a server name of localhostPrivate Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. Andraax, I didn't know how, Trenloe, Thanks that's just the info I needed to know. The advice and info worked perfectly, and my player's can now view and add the background I just created. I didn't know how to share the sheet with the player's. Typical newbie mistake. Thanks guys, you helped save tonights game! You guys are awesome!
