How to create a character

How do I go about creating a character? Oh boy... I'm new to fantasy grounds. I played DnD 2nd edition back in 2000-2003 with some friends from school. I would like to figure this program out. When I select manage characters then the rulesets 4E, Fatecore, Numenera, PFRPG appear but when I select anyone of them and hit start it errors and says ruleset missing. Any help please.

Welcome to the forums!

Sounds like your installation didn't complete or was corrupted. I would first try running an update and see if that resolves anything. If not, then I would suggest you try re-installing.

There are some less drastic steps (just deleting individual ruleset files), but since you have multiple issues I suspect it will require more than just a few corrections.

Alright I have some screen shots of all the game info. It looks like it install and updates just fine, but I still can't get it to load the ruleset.

Thanks for all of your help. I had to delete the launcher.pak file and update. That solved the problem.
