POI Creation

Anyone know some good references for making Points of interest? I am looking to sprinkle a few POIs into my campaign but am looking for a kickstart for my creative side. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There are lots and lots of random generators on the web and on places like rpgnow

You have two kinda routes - one all your PoIs are pushing the main story - then you have to come up with them all yourself - or they are interesting and not particularly relevant to the main story (but still fun etc) - then random tables can help expand away from you doing the same things you always do.

Thanks damned I'll check it out. I have been google but either Im searching with the wrong words or something cause I'm not finding what I really want. A random generator would be fine for now just so I can start putting stuff together.

Thanks for the help. That first link is the closest thing to what I have been looking for yet. I will be sure to give it a good comb through.
