NPC Spells
My apologizes if this isn't the best place to ask, but how do people handle casting spells as an enemy NPC? The Acolyte for example has actions you can drag and drop right into combat. They also have a described spell save DC for their spells and a list of spells. Those spells don't have a drag and drop like the player spells seem to, though. So how is everyone doing this?
I've just been reading the spell description and applying everything manually, but it takes a bit of time.
Thank you.

Well, this video makes it look like the functionality is there for the NPCs. Why aren't the 5e SRD NPCs already working?

The few example NPCs I've tried from the SRD work fine.
Check 6:40 in the video you link - you can see that the NPC is added to the combat tracker, the sword icon is clicked to expand the actions and then you can hover over the things like SAVEVS, ATK, EFF, etc. and double-click or drag/drop to use those actions.Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages. Well, the Acolyte from the DD Basic Rules doesn't get to cast from the combat tracker. However, I see when I add the version from the 5e SRD it does indeed. I was just unlucky in my first choice for doing combat with my players.

True resurrection
The video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uOd...lriZEtg2WBCCvp makes it seem like just typing the spells to the Spellcasting Trait should populate the NPC character sheet. Is this true? I tried it and it doesn't seem to work like that to me. Basically what I'm asking is that does the listing of spells per level in Spellcasting Trait do anything?

See this section of the Wiki. https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...ffects-on-NPCs
The spellcasting trait tells Fantasy Grounds what spells that the NPC has and when the NPC is first opened or placed on the Combat Tracker FG looks for the spells listed in any open modules and populates those spells in the NPC spells list. If you add or amend the list of spells in an existing NPC after you do so you need to delete all of the spells in the spells list for that NPC then close the NPC sheet and re-open it for the spells to populate. You need to have either the PHB or the SRDdata modules open in the campaign for this to happen. If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Ok, that explains it. It is only populated once in the beginning. Thanks a lot!
