Ext: Expanded NPC Weapons
Expanded NPC Weapons
Version: 1.0
Compatibility: FG II v. 3.0.2
Rulesets: PFRPG (still beneficial for 3.5e)
Description: This small one is for GMs. It adds all the weapons from Ultimate Equipment to the list for parsing NPC attacks and damage types. Might be best to copy the code from this and place it into a custom script of another extension as there isn't much there.
How to Use
Type the name of the weapon using the usual format in the Attack field on the NPC sheet. For example, "starknife +3 melee (1d10+2)" will register as slashing damage.

expanded_npc_weapons.luaI never claimed to be sane. Besides, it's more fun this way.

Is this still needed or has FG been updated?
EDIT: I added a few more attacks to an attached copy (cutlass, blows--for flurry of blows, proboscis, and vine). You can also easily open the ext and add more which are common to your game (let me know if you need help with that).
Beyond the scope of Nickademus' original version, this adds a table for defining new common natural attacks (which I used for vine and proboscis).
For attacks which are not common enough to merit adding them to the parsing list, use the instructions here to modify the npc's attacks to add damage types.
If you'd rather I not post this here, Nickademus, just let me know and I'll remove it.Last edited by bmos; October 14th, 2020 at 13:09.
