New Tutorial Videos

Hi All,

I've just finished uploading the first 3 of my Video Tutorials for FG2 onto YouTube, with many more to follow - yes, I know its been done before (many, many times) but I thought I'd give it a go as well (and try to give something back to the community).

Watch 'em or not, like 'em or not, its up to you - I had fun making 'em for my Players and they got what they needed out of 'em - I hope you do to.

No these look polished an professional, and he has got the whole series planned, it makes mine look piecemeal and amateurish (which they were and are!)

Wow - thanks Doswelk.

Coming from you that really means a lot to me (I've lurked for a while on the boards & so have a fair idea who's who).

Not that I don't appreciate all the nice words people have said - I DO!

It might interest you to know that I'm a Senior ICT Project Manager, so planning things out in advance is sort of what I do anyway - it helps in the (hobby) coding I do also (and it helps in GMing as well

)

Hi All,

Well, I've just (re)posted my original 3 videos after having updated them - and in hindsight it probably wasn't a worthwhile idea, considering the amount of work for the changes involved and the fact that I removed the old ones and thus lost all the "likes", etc. from my YouTube Channel. So, I don't think I'll be doing that again!

The good news is that I've also posted a new video (and there's a fifth one on the way - its just going through "proof-reading" now). People might like to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to make sure that they get the notifications of any updates in the future.

These videos are great.

One thing I might suggest is a little more description for each one.

You're really starting from some very very basic steps and the average user might not need the first 2-3 videos.

Perhaps with each linked video a short bullet point summary of the topics reviewed would add value (I'm not saying change the video - put them on the actual YT page).
