I want to make a 4' diameter pointer for light radius and after finding the relevant lua file and using cut and paste i believe i've set it up, however I can't find out where to edit the radial menu so that it can be added?

For image controls in particular, there may not be any room on the radial menu, due to all the base functions supported for images.

You could potentially make it a toolbar button addition instead...
