Hello. I am having trouble with celestian's 1e ruleset. Can someone tell me the exact steps involved in copying the contents of the AD-D-Core-master zip file to the AD&D Core folder?

To clarify - the extension in the following link is no longer supported?
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...e-1e-Extention
The 1E properties extension I do support (not official FG product) but I thought he was talking about the old AD&D Core project, if not, my apologies.
OP: If you're wanting to use the 1E properties extension I would definitely subscribe to it through the Forge, it will manage installing it for you. You just nee to enable it.
Is there no 1st Edition AD&D Ruleset then?
If you want AD&D 1e the use the AD&D2e ruleset with ALL of these forge modules: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/cra...5/view-profile and this one extension: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/150/view This will give you a fully functional OSRIC ruleset, which has some minor differences to 1e (xp total requirements are different, class combinations that used to be NPC only are now available to PCs, thief skills totals are slightly different, etc).
Yes.
I will rephrase in one respect because in conversation I've found saying "the 2E ruleset" can confuse people coming to fantasy grounds for the first time.
You don't load the 2E "books". I.e., you don't load the 2E PHB, DMG, etc. A lot of people seem to equate "2E Ruleset" with using the 2E books (because outside of fantasy grounds that's what "using the 2E ruleset" would mean).
In the launcher, when you're setting up your campaign for the first time you pick a 2E campaign and enable the 1E extension. Then you launch the campaign, and, when it opens you go into the modules section and enable the OSRIC books. Then proceed from there.
Thanks guys. You gave me all the information I need.
There is old school essentials which is a BX /add clone. We have advanced which is closer to ADD
Thanks bayne7400. I checked out the site and it look cool.
