New computer/same license

Standard apologies if this question is elsewhere, etc etc.
I tried digging thru all the pages of stuff.
I got a new computer. I downloaded the FG demo from the website. Tried my account key that I bought in June. It still only shows demo. It never will update to the paid version.
I thought it said in the FAQ that FG doesn't know what computer I'm on.. only whether I'm running simultaneous versions (which I'm not).
Help?

Someone how you are not entering the license key correctly and then running Update. Make sure you are entering it in the correct license field (the top one) and have no extra spaces etc. Then run an Update. If that still doesn't work, email [email protected] a screen shot or your settings page and they can verify your license key is active.
