I had asked about doing Primeval Thule a couple years ago. Doug himself did the 5E edition and (at the time anyway) said sales were pretty poor and recommended I not bother doing the Savage edition. Not sure if the 5E sales have improved but I've had so much on my queue since then that I wouldn't have been able to squeeze it in anyway.

Lankhmar is pure swords & sorcery. The default setting is the city itself, but there's a whole world for the normal wilderness and dungeon style adventures. Fafhrd himself (one of the two stars of the books it's all based on) was a barbarian. And it does have a great magic system.

Well leave it to me to always pick the underdog. And yes Lankhmar has a lot to good stuff in it. I've just never warmed to Nehwon itself. But you guys are right the magic system in the SW Lankhmar setting is excellent. Which is why I stole it for my custom extension

We've been running a B&B campaign now off and on for about 2 years. The published material is more than sufficient and requires very little SWADE conversion (some, yes, but not a lot). It is ridiculously easy to convert material from other SW games (I'm using AAW modules right now and just tweaking the setting to B&B). Likewise it is easy to convert a PDF into FG. I spend more time looking for art to show/inspire the PCs than I do actual campaign creation/maintenance.

I think you should carefully read about both settings, check which one feels the best for you and your group, and then finally choose Hellfrost because it fking rocks.

Hellfrost does have an amazing breath of material while B&B has a strong Swords & Sorcery vibe that allows a lot of outside material to be used.
I'm going to start with Hellfrost but, if it doesn't grab the players, good to have a backup.
