I assume you are using the Aura extension, otherwise auras don't exist in the base ruleset. Assuming you are using it I thing the target should be set to self, since the aura is emanating from the Paladin.

Yes, I do have an extension for Auras

I think so, yes. I haven't use the auras extension for some years so I can't say for sure that is correct. A brief scan of the documentation for that extension shows that it has got much more complex since I last looked at it.
