Hello All. I made a few extensions for 4e recently, but I just wanted to make a general catch all thread that anyone can use to post about what kinds of extensions they would want to see for 4e, whether that is converting an extension from another ruleset or creating something new.

I would like to see a Backgrounds extention.

you can already kinda do this by uploading an asset, going to Asset > Set Background decal and it will put it over top. unless you mean something more specific

I was referring to the background screen from the offline Character Builder app - see attached.

An extension - that's what I asked about. Unless I'm missing something within the FGU system, you cannot assign a background to a FGU created character. An extension file for FGU would make that possible as the data does exist. The CB screen was to show the data to add via an extension. Didn't inquire about creating anything else.

To clarify, can the current FGU character creation process allow for backgrounds to be selected?

ooooh, I am sorry I thought you meant like a background as in an image (desktop background). apologies for the miscommunication. Yes you are correct, I never even noticed there was no background option. I feel like that should be a relatively easy fix. I might try and work on that. Thanks!

No worries - we are a common people separated by a common language. �� Actually, along that line, it might also allow for automation when adding themes for Paragon and Epic levels.

I appreciate all the incredible work you and others do to help improve on the 4e system.

sure no problem, I got the background extension implemented but I will have to look into doing the paragon and epic levels. See the thread here
