    attack bonus with trait (like itf:)

    .

    this is set in combat tab: character effects... it won't work on a ranged weapon, nor on alchemist bombs:
    Code:
    Bomb Attack Proficiency; ATK: 6, bomb, alchemical
    i tried also:
    Code:
    Bomb Attack Proficiency; TRAIT: bomb, alchemical; ATK: 6
    i think these are invalid.

    is there something i can use to recognize bomb / alchemical and apply bonus, but not to any ranged?

    I strongly recommend you check the effect syntax in the FG Wiki page - ATK will accept a single trait as a filter, and TRAIT "Adds the trait to actions that support traits - currently only the damage action." - it is not a filter. So, based off the information in the Wiki, neither of these effects string will work.

    With that said, the alchemical bomb proficiency should be used by FG automatically - FG should look for an "Alchemical Bombs" proficiency when using a melee or ranged attack action from a spell or activity where the spell/activity has the "alchemical" and "bomb" traits. But there's an issue with this code currently (it'll be fixed next week). In the meantime, before the fix, you can change the "Alchemical bombs" proficiency on the PC Sheet Combat Tab from "CAT" (category) to "GRP" (Group) - this will need to be changed back to "CAT" once the ruleset fix has been updated.
