Starship Scene Error
I built a Starship Scene based on one of the GM Core examples (I don't have the GM Core module) in the book.
When I add the scene to the combat tracker, it shows up along with the two threats correctly, but when I cycle through the combat tracker turns, I get an error when it automatically rolls the persistent damage thing.
Not sure why or what I'm doing wrong here. I included a screenshot of the scripting error and the scene I set up.
I'm a bit of a newb with Pathfinder 2/Starfinder 2, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Removed a semicolon from "5 (regains 5 per round);" on the ambush scene and now it's not rolling persistent damage, therefore not producing the error any longer. <shrugs> Not sure if that fixed it or if something else is going on.Last edited by Tyrannosaurus VeX; Today at 04:53.

I've checked the code and I see where there can be an error with SHIELDS (which I'll look into getting fixed), not persistent damage - where is the persistent damage coming from? Can you provide more information about the effects that are active for the various actors in the Combat Tracker please?

There were no Effects on any of the actors in the combat tracker.
All I did was add the Scene to the combat tracker along with 1 pc character. I was attempting to run through a mock combat scene to see how it would run. The scene itself was at 999 initiative, one of the threats was at 17, and the PC rolled a 7. Here's what happened in order:
1. I added the scene to the combat tracker.
2. I used the threat's attack and dropped it on the scene, which did roll correctly to hit.
3. I rolled damage.
4. I realized that I hadn't moved the combat tracker order and attempted to pass the turn from the scene to the threat (and then to the PC).
5. When I clicked the green arrow to end the turn, it made some sort of automated Persistent Damage roll, though no damage actually applied, but it was failed and then a damage roll occurred.
6. The error came up.
7. It didn't actually move to the next actor either and repeated attempts just repeated 5 & 6.
When I tried to remove the Scene from the combat tracker, it popped the same error (without the Persistent Damage roll). It only allowed me to remove the Scene after I'd first removed the threat. When I removed the semicolon from the Shield field as I indicated in my first post and re-added the scene, none of this occurred (no persistent damage, no error). I still don't know if that actually fixed it, or if something else was going on.

No idea where the persistent damage is coming from - your chat window screenshot is showing that there's a PERS: 4 effect on the Asteroid Ambush threat. Anyway, this is not the cause of the issue - I was just wondering where the PERS effect was coming from.
The problem is with the SHIELDS effect not processing correctly, I'll get that fixed. Thanks for letting us know about the issue.FG Wiki: How to Compile the FG Logs

Thanks for the help. I'll look into where the Persistent Damage was coming from tomorrow. I think I have an idea, but I'll have to test and play around with it to see if I can repeat it.
