    Table Resolver - GM Only?

I've been considering running a RMC campaign using fantasy grounds, so have been trying to get to grips with things. Getting there slowly and very impressed so far.
One fly in the ointment however is the Table Resolver.

As GM I can pull this up no problem and it works as advertised.
The players don't seem to have the option to start this. Am i missing something in the settings. I did look, but couldn't see anything in relation to this feature.

While yes as GM i can resolve everything and apply it.... it does make the game sterile for the players as they have no idea of what's happening other than the initial attack roll.
For years our group has had players manage their own attack resolution by looking up the relevant books, so the main comments/concerns i'm getting when playtesting is that not being in control of this sucks.

It is a bit of a deal breaker with the group.

I thought i'd check with you experts as to whether i'm missing something.

    Hi mdayrui,

Yes, the table resolver is GM only. Basically the GM is supposed to resolve the attack the use the Apply button to apply the results to the target. There are options to output that information to the chat and effects will get added to the combat tracker. It allows the GM to fudge the results if they want to by clicking a different row or column header. It can happen fast enough that the PCs won't even notice.

The RM Tables window can be shared but not the table resolver so you can share that if they players want to look at the tables but they won't see the resolving of those attacks.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Dakadin

Thanks for confirming Dakadin, I'll have to see if they can get past this and allow me to manage rolls a bit more. Maybe i have them roll their crit and I manually add the result to the resolver before I apply the crit.

Which kind of leads on to the sharing of tables.
The players don't see the Crown for "Rolemaster tables" under the tools section. As you suggested I can share tables, but this seems to be only if i do this individually by right clicking on a particular table
Can you confirm if there's an option just to allow them to see the crown so they could look at any table as they require without me having to share/reshare all the time?

The players still roll their crits. Basically the sequence works like this.
    1. The player applies any modifiers then rolls their attack.
    2. The GM resolves the attack in the table resolver which loads up the table and selects the appropriate row and column.
    3. The GM clicks the Apply button to apply the results (if the option is set it shows up in the chat). It will apply the damage if appropriate.
    4. If the result is a fumble or critical, the table resolver will open the result table in the bottom section.
    5. In the Attack section for a player they can roll the Result Roll on the right side of their list of attacks. This will automatically fill in the Result Roll on the table resolver with the total for the roll. They can also roll just a d100 (or high open-ended roll if a large or super large crit table) and the GM can drag the results to the result table. It will automatically pick the correct row.
    6. The GM clicks the Apply button to apply the result table results. It will apply any damage or effects.
    7. If there are additional result tables (like for a lightning bolt critical above E) it will switch to the next result table so the GM can continue applying results whether they want one roll for all criticals or individual rolls per critical (just have them do another result roll before clicking Apply again).

Where it might be confusing is NPCs will automatically roll the result roll to speed things up for the GM. You can always just manually roll that from the table resolver by using the Result Roll field.

No they don't see the Crown unfortunately. It is a GM only option. The GM will have to share it again each time.

Cool I missed that the dice on the right hand side of the combat tracker linked back to the crit.
    Thanks for explaining
