Item "Source" should be the base product where the item came from, not the name of the adventure it's used in. We'll reach out to the product dev to ask to update the unique items Source.
We'll reach out to the product dev to ask to update the information that is supported by the PF2 ruleset.
Thanks for letting us know about these issues.FG Wiki: How to Compile the FG Logs

Thank you Trenloe.
I've also just discovered that none of the weapons in the GM Core are set up correctly. By this I mean they aren't set up as weapons with damage dice.
For example: Searing Blade - greater searing blade
It is meant to be a +2 Greater Striking Flaming longsword, but it doesn't have damage dice set, nor the item bonus, nor the striking (nor the other abilities that the item has in the description, but that is less surprising).
I'm wondering if this issue extends to even more books/modules? I haven't bought anything outside of the Core books and that one adventure I previously mentioned (also the first Age of Ashes adventure from when PF2E first released, but items in that seem to be done correctly, at least when it comes to damage dice, the striking property, and item bonus)
Edit: There also seems to be no consistency across modules with the top level category of weapon items. Some have "Weapon", some have "Weapons". The uses are even split across items within the same module.

We are in the long process of converting the products to use a different method of updating - moving from the in-house, bespoke dev tool. This is taking longer than expected. The GM Core is one of our priorities to get converted and start updating the magic items.
Custom item issues in adventures should still be reported so that they can be updated in the adventures. A +2 Greater Striking weapon is a custom item, but can be coded directly in the item as per the Item Wiki page here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...2/PFRPG2+Items Abilities are harder to code.Last edited by Trenloe; January 26th, 2026 at 22:09.

Thanks for the quickly reply Trenloe.
The +2 Greater Striking is the description of the "Searing Blade - greater searing blade" found in the GM Core, so I wouldn't call it a custom item. But I appreciate that this can be replicated by following the item wiki - that is actually what I was looking at and investigating for a few hours last night when I discovered the issue I posted about with the adventure path items.

Just been using the Courageous Anthem composition cantrip, and discovered the +1 damage is not applied to spell damage.
I have added "DMGS: +1 status;" into the effects which has fixed it for me, but I believe this should be standard functionality in the ruleset?

Thirst For Blood Player's Guide
One of my players has just encountered an issue with Thirst For Blood Player's Guide.
None back the Character Backgrounds work correctly when creating a character - they do not provide the associated ability boosts that they are meant to confer. This means the character's ability score has to be fudged with a modifier as there doesn't seem to be any other way of assigning an ability boost.

Combat Tracker Population Erros
Hello
Only one NPC is populating the Combat Tracker, with errors, when dropping an encounter card onto the tracker. It's happening when all NPC are pre-placed on an image as well as when no NPCs are pre-placed on an image.
Edit: I just also noticed it does it when dragging an NPC straight from the bestiaryLast edited by Draykor; February 4th, 2026 at 16:17.

This is an error that was introduced with the v5.1.2 update yesterday. We've made the main FG dev aware and are pushing for a fix. I'll try to get a work around in place ASAP if the base FG fix isn't immediately available.

Sorry for this issue occurring.
We've a hotfix work around pushed for the PFRPG2 ruleset. This will avoid the error and allow adding of effects to entries in the CT and also allow adding of entries to the CT that have a PERMEFFECT automation that applies an effect.
This hotfix temporarily negates the code that prevents duplicate effects from being applied and also the IMMUNE: [condition] effect functionality. We're working on the base issue and will reinstate this functionality once that is fixed.FG Wiki: How to Compile the FG Logs
