FGU launching directly or through steam
I just discovered that I can launch FGU directly without starting STEAM.
Is it better, I mean maybe avoiding steam is less resources hungry?
Maybe is a stupid question, I could not find anywhere instructions about it.
By the way I have bought FGC and FGU ultimate and all official WOTC modules through steam.Neuronblaster GM on warhorn.net

It matters not where you launch it from. Steam is just a shortcut which fires up FGU - it doesn't actually run through Steam. So starting it from Steam is the same as starting it from anywhere else.
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

It does run without the overlay (which can be turned off in Steam yes), but it also doesn't track hours (days, years, centuries) played in steam in you want that metric.

Launching through steam also flags that you are in FG in the friends list. I used that to show that I was ready for players for my last campaign.
