Changing character sheet colour/background for CoC 6e?
Hi All,
Quick question. I'm running Mask of Nyarlathotep in Call of Cthulhu 6e on FGU.
It's awesome.
The one complaint that several of my players have is that black text on grey background, plus greyscale image, makes the character sheet hard to read for middle-aged eyes.
I can't see any customisation options within the theme. I guess we could run with a different theme, would that work?
Or is there a relatively simple hack to the XML? (Turning off the image and turning the back background colour to white would do it).
Cheers, Hywel

You will need to make an extension to either (or both) change font colours or change the background image.

Thanks!
A workaround for now is just using the Wood theme, not ideal but still a lot more contrast than black on grey.
I tried copying the CoC ruleset, renaming to zip, unzipping, finding the PNG file for the background, blanking it to white, re-zippping/naming/saving, but when I tried to run the campaign again it didn't like it (none of the extensions appeared when I selected host campaign, so I figured it was probably time to stop hacking and ask).
I'll look into making my own extensions for theme.
Cheers, Hywel
