Something we have done in our Castles & Crusades game is to set up an ATTACK for each heal and just have it apply negative damage.

I have yet to try this in 5E but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Thanks all! I think as i try to google and find stuff in the forums, one of the main hurdles i come across is i know alot of functionality was added in FG3 and most all the data i find is pertinent to Pre-3. So im never sure if the information im getting is correct or just out of date! Being able to drag the dice to the wounds to get it to auto affect them is good advice.

I think the wiki should be up to date, so that's a good place to start. Good luck exploring FG

There are probably better answers... It will actually show this as a Healing action.
I have tried [CTRL] dragging and dropping them onto the wounds on the character sheet as the Player, and the combat tracker as the GM, neither seemed to have any affect...

Follow these steps as the GM (numbered in the screenshot below):
    1. Roll the 2d4+2 as damned mentions above.
    2. Hold down the CTRL key and drag from the roll result of step #1 and drop on the Wnd column in the combat tracker.
    3. The chat window reflects the -9 being applied to wounds as a healing action.

The player can do a similar process, but they can't drop on the combat tracker - CTRL+drag the roll result number to the HP "Wnd" field on the first (Main) page of the character sheet.

FYI - that won't work in this example, as the roll is not tagged as healing - it is just a number, so dragging a number to a token won't do anything as FG doesn't know what the number is. You need to drag the number to a specific field for it to be appropriately applied - in this case the Wnd field.
