An other request:
Could there be two different strings for WILL - a short and a long version. Analog for example fortitude - "<string name="fortitude">" and "<string name="will">". suggestion: "<string name="will_long">" and "<string name="will_short">". That will be nice, because will is in German "Wille" and this is a little bit to long. With to different variables it could be "WIL" and "Wille".

Hi,
I used the localization file that was given some posts ago, but it gives me quite strange values. All combat and save related info seems to be +10 (whyever), and the skill sheet seems messed up with this extension.
I have included pictures of what it looks like.
Is there a way around this issue?

Hi,
the extension i posted here on 25.2. was still an "alpha" version and not tested at all. The "+10" issue could only be caused by the "reinitialisation" of the data_common.lua values. To get rid of it you can comment out the two lines in the "extension.xml" of the extension :
But then the skills in the skilllist would not be translated.<base>
<includefile source="strings/de/strings.xml" />
<!-- includefile source="strings/de/data_common_strings.xml" / -->
<!-- High-level scripts -->
<!-- script name="TransDataCommon" file="scripts/translate_data_common.lua" / -->
</base>
What do you mean with "messed up skill sheet" ? (for me the picture you posted looks quite ok ..)

As you can see on the skillsheet https://www.imgbox.de/users/talonzorch/Skills12.PNG the Attribute is no more displayed behind the Skills. I have made another picture of a new character, that shows this issue in more detail: https://www.imgbox.de/users/talonzorch/johnboy.PNG
It should look like this:

You said, this was an alpha build. Do you have a more advanced version?
And regarding the +1ß issue, I will give your soltion a try - although if this would disable the translation, it would be kind of senseless :-)

ok, the "messed up Skillsheet" has also somthing to do with the "reinit" patch in my extension

For me the creation of that extension is also an exercise to learn the scirpting language python. So i am playing around with it and after making one step foreward it goes two steps back again ...
So my current version of the extension is not in a state somebody can use it to play. But maybe, if i got the time, i will release the version posted here with bug fixes for the two issues you posted.
There is also an other guy who plans to release an "localize into german extension" (Lule), and he wrote that he will release a first official version soon (look into the FantasyGrounds Threat in www.drachenzwinge.de). Maybe Lule and me will coordinate our work in future, we will see ...

extension to translate 3.5e and Pathfinder ruleset into german
Today there was the release of the extension on www.drachenzwinge.de. It uses the localization and internationalization as far as possible without loosing functionality of the rulesets. More is only possible if you change the original ruleset code - something drvolk is trying.
To download the extension you need a registration for the forum of drachenzwinge - the link to the release post: https://www.drachenzwinge.de/forum/i...6400#msg536400
