Tabs-an explanation
it seems that a few other people (like me) dont understand tabs too well, so after a little digging on the subject i thought i would share
this is the basic tab
right click on it for a menu
now there are two
customise them
Drag story items to new tab
you can also drag your tabs left and right into different order
if you want to add them in XML
the structur should look like this
<node name="encounter">
<categorydef holder="Chris" definition="0,0:0,0:0,0" />
<node name="00001" category="1">
<stringvalue name="name" value="About Wizard's Amulet" />
it user your user name to set up the tabs
the definitions are a two digit pair
eg. 0,0:0,0 would set 2 tabs, in red with the default icon
the first digit is the colour & the 2nd is the icon
colours
0=red
1=green
2=blue
3=yellow
4=purple
icons (i dont know the proper names..this is my interpretation )
0=std icon
1=sheild
2='z'
3=envelope
4=star
5=flag
6=cross
7=ball
hope that helps

Re: Tabs-an explanation
Beautiful work tarrasque. Much appreciated. You seem to have a very good grasp of what this tool can and can't accomplish. I'm going to start up a thread where everyone can put their favourite tip link down. Sort of a "master list" if you will of helpful hints and topics.
Thanks again.

I already found that out, but nevertheless, very good work! This might be useful for an update of the manual, with kudo's to you of course
Is there a chance that the manual will be expanded with more in-depth material on certain commands that can be used?Hardmoon - music for your gaming sessions

tarrasque this tutorial is the bomb
onky,
From what I can tell, SmiteWorks has developing an "enhanced" guide for content developers on the burner somewhere.
They have a lot on their plates, though.
tarrasque,
I can't thank you enough for this little hint / tutorial. Thanks. I will do a search on your username from now on when I have a question.
Regards all,
Feanor

Anyone figured a way to put names for tabs in there? Like tooltips, be nice if you had a massive sotryline built into the story frame, you could break it up with tabs and name them, say for the encounters or soemthing make it allot easier to find imformation quicker than clicking through all your tabs.
