AC effects adding to CMD?
I can't figure this out for the life of me, I'm hoping someone can explain.
In Pathfinder 1st Edition, CMD is determined by: CMD = 10 + BAB + Str Mod + Dex Mod + Size mod + deflection/dodge and any AC bonuses that apply to touch AC
I have a spell that just gives a +4 armor bonus to AC. This means it should not apply to CMD. However, when I write up the effect:
Force Armor; AC: 4, armor
It still applies that +4 bonus to CMD.
According to the wiki (https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassia...d+3.5E+Effects), AC takes [bonus],[range], and opportunity. So I am assuming typing 'AC: 4, armor' is stating 'Armor Class has a bonus of +4, with the 'armor' type.' Am I reading this wrong? How do I create this effect so that it applies the bonus to armor only, and stops giving the person with this effect a +4 to CMD as well.

Hi RuleofThree! It's been a while since I dabbled in PF1, so I suggest this not in confidence...
Syntax is tricky. Try removing the comma between the number and bonus type and see if that helps. Otherwise, another suggestion is to add another effect for CMD to counteract, though I'm not sure you need it, I'd have to play around and test too...
Force Armor; AC:4 armor; CMD:-4
