I don't suppose there's a way to get the update for free/reduced cost if you've purchased the previous CSC release? Hard for me to justify spending the extra money when the previous version is keeping my players happy.

I'm just the community developer who did the work and volunteer my time and effort doing the conversion for a small commission from each sale. Folks like me are not employed by Smiteworks or Mongoose. How they determine pricing or offering things like that are between Smiteworks and the publisher.


Edit:

I have seen this come up with other rulesets as well, but the fact is that the majority of the products (rulesets & books) in the FGU store are done by people just like me and would not exist if not for what we do. When products are given away for free like you are asking it can dis-incentivize us from doing this kind of conversion work.
