Guns & Gears Remaster Plans?
Paizo announced a remaster version of Guns & Gears: https://paizo.com/products/btq05498?...der-Guns-Gears
It sounds like it's basically just a new printing of the book with errata to bring it in line with the remaster. Do we know how this will work with Fantasy Grounds? Meaning, will we need to rebuy it, or will it just be an update to the existing module?

We'll update the existing legacy G&G module with the remastered errata in the near future. One of the reasons for the delay in implementing the remastered errata for legacy products is that we haven't decided how we're going to do it. In theory there could be a bunch of people who still want to play legacy rules and so don't want their existing products updated with remaster errata. We'll sort it out soon, but it may take us a while...
The new remastered Guns & Gears has a different Paizo product code to the legacy G&G. We'll reach out to Paizo and see what they want to do regarding merging or keeping these products separate, taking into account what I've just mentioned regarding supporting legacy games.Last edited by Trenloe; August 22nd, 2024 at 01:37.

I wonder if they will eventually do the same with Secrets of Magic and Dark Archives?
I also wonder how much will be changed. I think a lot of people will want a rework of inventor, but this seems like it isn't at the scope or scale of PC2

From what I have heard, the plan is to do a remaster whenever they start a new print run of a given book. So if you want them to remaster those books, just buy a bunch of physical copies of the legacy books
