My Own Dukedom
Well, move over RV, looks like I get to build a castle on the good side of town - right next to yours. Being the new guy I will naturally build a bigger castle.
I have to say the FG forums have been fun for me. FG has fulfilled the promise of being able to play RPGs over the internet for me and I have had a blast playing with old friends from college and new friends I have met here.

(Starts to undermine the upstart "Duke"s castle.)
FG has let me play DnD again for the last 2 and a half years. And counting!
Though so far I've still not played with Griogre or Ilwan... whom I don't think is ever around here any more.

*bows to the new duke in town*
Hehe if Griogre is a new guy, the rest of us must be positively embryonic.
Congratulations Griogre!

*raises a poisoned wineglass* A toast then for the new Duke... *stealthily switches glass with someone sitting next to an enemy of his* ... may he live long and prosper.

Thanks guys. I'd invite you into the castle for a celebration, but there seems to be some sort of underground termite problem...

Those aren't thermites, they are goblin sappers...

Termites, goblin sappers - its all the same when they are squished. I sent a few earth elementals down and the problem seemed to solve itself.

Banishment! Banishment! Dispel Magic!
**Squish!**
Sigh...
**Knock Knock**
Welcome to the Kingdom "Duke".
