Unusual dice
Hello,
In a random table, how may I set an unusual dice (d18, for example) ?Last edited by Jimlock; February 7th, 2024 at 12:44.

If you add 18 entries do not add any dice. It will just do a random number generator.
If you want to use dice then add a d20 and add a 19-20 option that rerolls the table.

I've copied a table who has a d19 (and 19 entries).
I have removed one entry and I want to replace d19 by d18.
What is the method ?

Unlock the copied table, click edit icon and then delete the 19 19 entry. If there is a dice in there right click and clear the dice.

When I right-click on the dice, I can only Share, Minimize, or Close Window.

If you deleted the nineteenth row then FG should automatically change that to 18 since there are now only 18 rows. If you changed the 19 in the last box to 18 then again FG should automatically change the dice roll to 1d18. FG looks at the first box in the first entry and the last box in the last entry and figures out what dice to use (even if you have 10, 20 or 100 entries FG will use 1d10, 1d20 or percentage dice automatically). Unless you want a dice roll of something like 1d10+1d8 there is no need to add dice into the dice box at all.
If this isn't automatically happening for you an extension may be the issue. If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php
