Why is this on sale?

It seems pretty shady to put this ruleset on sale to attract people towards purchasing it. The development has been abandoned for years and in my opinion doesn't even fir the minimum I would expect for a paid ruleset. Hopefully people do their homework before buying it. Great RPG system - just doesn't merit being a paid system.

And to the SmiteWorks folks, if you state there is a new developer taking over and you are trying to generate support for bigger and better things with the system then I am all for it and apologize for my rant above. If not, then it is just irresponsible.

The ruleset hasn't been abandoned. It's being maintained with the set of features it had when it was dropped by the original developer. It is however, not being expanded from that state. We provide bug fixes and ensure any new CoreRPG feature works within it's operation.
