Rippers Resurrected SWADE Issues

Hey all,

So we have been playing Rippers Resurrected in SWADE on FG Unity for some time now and last week, there were major bugs. Non stop error messages (sorry, I don't remember what they said) whenever any player tried to do dice rolls from character sheets. Made the game completely unplayable and we had to cancel. We did a test run after an update that happened between then and now and that part seems to work now (haven't played a full session, just a quick attempt) but I just got on to remake my character to export it and when I opened up the modules, many buttons in the GM's Guide are blank. I'm not sure what's happening with Rippers, but hopefully it can be looked into so we can get back to gaming. I've tried to attach a snapshot of the module, but it won't upload for some reason.

I've had some inconsistency lately when trying to attach images. Sometimes you have to "Go Advanced" (bottom right) to get to the more fully featured editor for attaching images.

As for the issue, its best to include details like what extensions and steps to duplicate in a new campaign (if possible, if not, a copy of the campaign helps). You can see the link in my signature for more help on reporting issues including how to attach logs etc. i.e. unless someone else has this issue, I don't think there's enough info in your post to reproduce the issue and therefore solve it.

No
But you can attach your logs. But it's much better if the GM can do their logs and report since they will know what extensions they are loading etc.

Suggest to the GM to make sure all of their extensions are updated before your next game. Especially any they use that are not from the FG Forge, those are not updated automitically.

I just updated all the settings/themes; so make sure that the GM runs a new Check for Updates on the FG launch screen; re-selects the "Setting: SW - Rippers Resurrected" and "Theme: SW - Rippers Resurrected" extensions; and restarts the campaign. Make sure no other extensions are selected for the campaign.

So the dice rolling is working fine on both ends now but the GM module still has blank buttons. The links still seem to work, they just don't have the labels any more. Again, I have tried to upload an image but the forums aren't letting me

You have to use the Go Advanced option in the forums and attach the image files. I'm not sure what buttons you are talking about without an image or exact steps.
